synopsis
What’s wrong with us Germans? Are we depressed sissies? Or are we just plain mad? Haunted by these questions, filmmaker Konstantin Faigle took a highly personal journey through his home country. He searched for the German soul, it’s origins and a way to elevate it to the sky again. As a man, expecting his first child Faigle refuses to bring up his child in a collectively depressed nation.
